JAZZ VIOLIN INVITES YOU!
Studio
ABC Jazz Violin has been in existence for 8 years.
How does it differ from other music schools?
- In addition to
children (from the age of 4), it also accepts adults with no musical
background.
- There is a pre-instrument class beginning at age 3.
Inna Isakov has created an original method for developing a
musical ear and rhythm through singing, music theory for small
children, vocal improvisation.
- The program includes both classical and jazz musical styles on the
violin.
Subjects of study: violin (individually and in ensembles),
solfege, harmony, music theory, jazz rhythms, violin improvisation,
jazz composition, arrangement for violin, organ.
Instruction
and direction of musical ensembles
Adult amateur
musicians (violin, viola, cello, contrabass, classical guitar,
piano, flute, clarinet, etc.) are invited to particiapte in
classical music ensembles
Children and teenagers are
invited to participate in youth jazz bands (violin, cello,
contrabass, bass-guitar, electric guitar, saxophone,flute and
voice).
The ABC Jazz Violin
group won first prize at the "Children Play Jazz" and
"Holiday for Peace and Friendship" festivals which took
place in 2005.
Registration
for the year 2010-2011 has begun.

Study
of the violin in the St.Petersburg tradition
Repertoire: familiar classical music, jazz, light music,
klezmer, jazz program based on original compositions. Available
for public & private concerts or musical appearances.
Order
What does music mean to me?
First of all it is the violin with its
beautiful rich sound, able to express colors of feeling which cannot
be explained in words.
Second, concerts which enable me to play
for people, to see that I can bring them enjoyment, to help them
forget their daily problems, to give them psychological strength and
energy.
Third, I love my students and can help them
progress in their music and their understanding of the world.
Fourth is composition, which is actually an
enjoyable game from which suddenly a new musical performance or song
grows…
